Origin: Sustainably sourced from the Central and Eastern United States.
Tree Characteristics: Black Walnut trees are iconic for their towering height and wide, spreading canopies. They can live for over 150 to 200 years, reaching heights of 100–120 feet. Because they grow more sparsely than other species, the timber is more exclusive and highly sought after.
Natural Stability: While Walnut is softer than Oak or Hickory, it is incredibly stable. It has one of the lowest shrinkage rates of all North American hardwoods, making it an excellent candidate for wide planks
