The Starborn ProPlug System fastens deck boards from the face and then hides the screw under a tapered wood plug cut from the same species as the deck — so the finished surface reads as clean uninterrupted wood instead of a grid of screw heads. Unlike hidden clips, the screw goes straight through the board into the joist, which holds warped boards down flat and lets any single board be lifted later for repair.
Each kit includes the plug cutter, setting tool, screws and plugs. Choose plugs in Red Balau or Yellow Balau to match your decking.
