Our Maple is available exclusively in the engineered format. The boards are 1/2" thick with 3-5" widths available with 1-4' random lengths. Many of our engineered products are FSC certified.

Appearance

Color. Reddish-brown heartwood with a white sapwood that can have a reddish-brown tinge.

Grain. Typically straight, but sometimes "curly," fiddleback," or "birds-eye."

Texture. Fine and uniform

Working & finishing

Good turning, good ability to hold nails, polishes well, glues moderately well.

Drying. Rated as easy to dry.

Durability

Slightly resistant to heartwood decay.
