Structural & Heavy-Duty Plank Options
For projects requiring superior strength, we offer our Knotty Pine in thicker cuts. These are ideal for barn flooring, lofts with exposed joists, and timber frame homes where the flooring acts as both the walking surface and the finished ceiling below.
5/4 Plank (1″ Finished Thickness): Provides added rigidity and a substantial feel underfoot. A favorite for traditional lofts. Available in 4″ to 12″ widths.
8/4 Plank (1 1/2″ Finished Thickness): Our heaviest structural choice. Designed for open-joist construction where maximum span strength is required. Available in 4″ to 12″ widths.
V-Joint Milling: For these thicker planks, we can mill a V-joint on one side. This creates a decorative “v-groove” look when viewed from underneath, perfect for exposed-beam ceilings.
